Denial Reason

Denial Reasons are used to track reasons for insurance denials.  Denials are entered at the charge level in A/R > Payments/Transfers on the Detail tab. Optional.

 
Go to File > File Maintenance > Category, press Change Type and set the radio button to Denial Reason.

 

 To Add a Denial Reason:

Press the Add button.

Assign a Code and enter a Description.

Press Save when done.

 
Click Print to preview or print a complete Denial Reason List.
