OASIS-E1 All Payer Submission
Beginning 1/1/2025, HHAs may begin to submit OASIS data on all patients admitted on or after 1/1/2025. HHAs will be required to submit OASIS data, regardless of payer, for all patients admitted 7/1/2025 or later.
Program changes have been made to allow all OASIS assessments, regardless of the M0150 response, to populate the OASIS export file when the SOC Date is 1/1/2025 or greater.
In Clinical, it is advised to select the OASIS Agency Submitter instead of the DONOTSEND Submitter for all patients admitted 1/1/2025 or later that meet the OASIS submission requirements.
To All Hospice Clients:
Hospice VBID Termination
The Hospice Benefit Component of the VBID Model terminates on 12/31/2024. Coverage for all hospice patients will revert back to Original Medicare on 1/1/2025. An end date of 12/31/2024 should be added to the patient's VBID payer in the Patient Profile and Billing Audits should be reviewed to confirm that charges with dates 1/1/2025 and after are posting to Original Medicare.
To All Clients: Revenue Reporting
Revenue Reporting with Close Periods can now be easily activated by going to System Settings and checking the 'Use Revenue Reporting' checkbox. Refer to the Revenue Reporting FAQ for additional instructions.
