CR 9369,Payment Posting at the Detail Level, and Hospice change Advisory

Attention all Clients:

The following important changes are included in our current release:

We have added new Start and End Date fields to the Charge Code file to accommodate the CR 9369 G0154 1/1/2016 retirement requirement. Refer to our "Set-up for CR 9369 G-Code Changes FAQ" for more details.

Electronic Payments can now be posted at the service line level. Refer to the "Payment Posting at the Detail Level FAQ" for more information.

Hospice Clients -- A new script option has been added to allow the referring physician to pull to the claim in addition to Institute info if that doctor is different from the order doctor. To utilize this feature:

Go to Billing>Electronic Claims and select the"1151 - Electronic 837 (Baseline)" option set (must be dated 11/17/15 or later).
Then click on the Options button and choose "Merge".
Select your Medicare Hospice Option set and select "Yes" at the prompt.
Click OK and exit the Billing Options Wizard.
Select the Medicare Hospice Option set, click the Options button and go to locator 2311.10.
Choose the option "Physician (Referring/Seq1)" and Save changes.
Repeat above steps any additional hospice option sets requiring referring provider info.
