Priority

 

Priority is used for disaster preparedness to identify patients who need to be seen. Assigned to a patient in the Billing Module Patient file Other tab. The Admission/Discharge and Patient List reports can be sequenced by Priority. This information also prints to the patient Cover Page. Optional.

Go to File > File Maintenance > Category, press Change Type and set the radio button to Priority.

   

To Add a Priority:

Press the Add button.

Assign a Code and enter a Description. Up to 12 alphanumeric characters can be used for the code, but shorter codes are recommended.

Press Save when done.

 
Click Print to preview or print a complete Priority List.
