this release, the Report Groups menu has added the following Base Reports:
- Claim Status

- UB04 Printed Claims
Hospice Visits Last Days of Life (HVLDL) Report
The
Hospice LOC Report has a new 'Only Patients w/Visits Last 3 Days of
Life' option. When this option is selected, only expired patients
receiving Routine Care with at least a 3-day length of stay will pull
to the report. Patients that do not have an RN or MSW visit on at least
2 of their last 3 days will appear with an exception on the report and
they will not be included in the Grand Totals HVLDL percentage.
HIS Assessment Tracking
HIS
Records can now be manually marked by a user as Accepted or
Rejected in the OASIS/HIS Export menu by following these steps:
- Go to Clinical > OASIS/HIS Export, check HIS-Data and click the Unpost Files tab.
- Highlight the export file in the top grid that has the HIS record to be marked as Accepted or Rejected.
- Check the box for Manually Edit CMS Status.
- Edit Status for Selected Record: if this radio
button is selected, click on the HIS record in the grid to mark the status for
only the selected record (used if one record's status is different from
the other HIS records in the file).
- Edit Status for ALL Records: if this radio button is
selected, all HIS records in the selected file will be updated with the
specified Status.
- After entering the Master Password, the Status and Status
Date fields will be enabled. Select Accepted or Rejected and the date of
acceptance or rejection by QIES.
- Press Save after making changes.
Telecommunications Charge Codes
Home health services furnished using
telecommunications technology will be required on HH claims for billing periods on
or after July 1, 2023. The following G-Codes may only be reported on
Type of Bill 32x with revenue codes 042x, 043x, 044x, 055x, 056x, and
057x:
- G0320:
Home health services furnished using synchronous telemedicine rendered
via real-time two-way audio and video telecommunications system
- G0321:
Home health services furnished using synchronous telemedicine rendered
via telephone or other real-time interactive audio-only
telecommunications system
- G0322:
The collection of physiologic data digitally stored and/or transmitted
by the patient to the home health agency (for example, remote patient
monitoring)
